"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare". -Audrey Lorde
What neighborhood, city or space affirms your Blackness?
I always feel alive in Harlem. Although it is changed drastically, the energy is so BLACK - i feel so alive there. You feel the history on Lenox Avenue, to busting street of 125th. It feels like home and magic all in one.
What do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to consist of sharing and spreading radical wellness work. To implement collective care in our communities, and to build ourselves up to become powerful forces in the movement.
